Getting help: frequently asked questions

What should I bring to the bank to get food?

  1. Picture ID.
  2. Something with your name and address printed on it, such as a utility bill, public assistance coupon, lease agreement or other mail. We would like this to be current.

Should I bring a Social Security card and picture ID for everyone in my house?

We don't ask for Social Security cards for anyone in the house.

What if I work in Silverdale but live in another part of Kitsap County?

If you work in Silverdale and cannot make it to your own food bank, please call us and we'll work out an arrangement for your household. Our goal is to help everyone requesting food.

What other info do I need? Who is included in a household?

Please know the name and birthdate of each person in your household. People who live together at one address are a housould, including families, roommates, and seniors.
